Our journey of faith
Discover the heart of Lighthouse Baptist Church, our rich history, what we believe, and our commitment to serving the Lake Wales community and beyond.
Our history and foundation
Lighthouse Baptist Church is an Independent, Fundamental, Baptist church with a rich 31-year history. We were started and established in 1987 by Pastor Paul Tipton in Lake Wales, Florida. Our foundation is built upon standing for the King James Bible, the inerrancy of scripture, salvation through grace, sole liberty, eternal security of the believer, the pre-tribulation rapture of the church, and the separation of the Christian to holiness.
Our vision and mission
We are an excited church that is going and growing for the Lord. We have a great vision and are striving to keep improving until the Lord returns. We are a church that still believes in the “Great Commission” and we feel a responsibility to carry the Gospel to Lake Wales, Florida and the rest of the world through soul winning and missions. We offer Bible-centered preaching and spirit-filled singing each service.
Who we are for
Lighthouse Baptist Church is for conservative believers in the King James Bible. We have several programs geared to reach all ages in our community. We would love to have you as a part of our church family, so give us a visit and you just might find a home. Our hope is to reach the lost with the truth of Christ and help believers grow in their faith.
